Follow up to a great day

For a first time event, it was a great success. Just the right turnout … not too many or too little … enough to learn and prepare for next year. 60 cars … lots of wonderful Orphans and Classics. And despite being blocked in at its home-base, “Beulah”, Deep River Fire Department’s 1928 Maxim Pumper, made it with a dramatic entrance (and exit). Orphan Car Parade was a bit chaotic .. more like a herd of cats than a stately procession … but lots of fun and smiles all around.
